Matthews Veterans, led by American Legion Post 235 Commander Stephen Wilfong, celebrated Veterans Day 2024 at Stumptown Park with a great program and with those in attendance. All were blessed by keynote speaker combat medic Darrell Bonapart, Butler High School JROTC Honor Guard, Carolina Opera soloists, and a special Veteran of the Year Air Force Colonel (Retired) Margaret Draganac.
